Originally from Seattle, Washington, David Reed has been working his hair magic on clients around the world for over 20 years. Educated at Renon’s Cosmetology College in Seattle, David proceeded to carve out his niche in the world of hair by keeping his well-trained eye on all of the latest trends. He has continued his education in the U.S., as well as Europe, spending a year working in Ireland. David has now decided to call San Antonio home, and by opening the fabulous salon, Shag, he has further dedicated himself to providing the ultimate salon experience to the masses. He is here to give you the style you’ve always dreamed of.

Kayla has been a member of the Shag the Salon team since 2006 and has created some of the most inspiring styles in San Antonio. Kayla has passion, experience, and specializes in everything from dramatic color and razor cuts to natural softer looks. A warm funny personality and strong talent make Kayla a perfect match for Shag and a perfect match for you!

katieMeet Katie, a stylist who loves to think outside the box. A San Antonio native who knew her calling was hair at a very early age. With such a big love for hair, Katie furthered her education by becoming a cosmetology instructor and has been working her hair magic for the last 6 years. She has a passion for color, from the traditional to the unique, as well as cuts, razor cuts, perms, styling, and up-dos. Katie’s skill and love for hair make her a great fit for Shag the Salon.

 

AMANDA LEE BURCHAM

Searching for a bedazzling haircut, funky color, or fresh progressive style? How about an absolutely fabulous manicure or pedicure? Well, look no further San Antonio! After 10 years of wowing the men and women of North Dakota with her talent and a keen eye for the right do, Amanda Lee is back home and ready to bestow the magic upon the masses. She received her training at the Headquarters Academy in Minot, ND, and since then has been perfecting her approach to colors, cuts, and styles! Her enthusiastic, upbeat personality, professionalism, skill level, knowledge, and dedication to the craft of hairdressing make her a most welcome addition to the Shag the Salon family.
